Confederate Graves Registry
The Iowa Division has endeavored to locate and catalogue the final Resting Place of every known Confederate Soldier buried in the State of Iowa. This is an ongoing work and anyone wishing to contribute is invited to do so by contacting us on the About Us page of this website for further information.
If you would like to search for your confederate ancestors, you may click the button below to search the Confederate Graves Registry. This is a National Registry and is updated on a regular and ongoing basis. If your ancestor is buried in Iowa and not registered, please contract us with his name, date of birth, rank, unit, dates of service along with any other information which may be helpful. Once your ancestor's service record has been verified, his final resting place will be added to the National Registry.
